What is Paris Fashion Week?
Paris is home to the industry's first ever organized fashion week. Since the creation in 1973, the event is known worldwide for showcasing the most prestigious designers and setting influential fashion trends for the coming seasons. Organized by the French Fashion Federation, the fashion week includes over 100 shows which feature top fashion houses such as Chanel, Dior, and Louis Vuitton.
Who are the Attendees?
Attending Paris Fashion Week is a highly exclusive event, reserved primarily for industry insiders, fashion editors, models, and buyers from the world's top fashion retailers. A-list celebrities and top social media influencers are often invited to sit front row, adding star presence and media attention to the shows. Fashion journalist and photographers are also present to document the collections for global audiences.
Access to the runway shows is usually by invitation only, with tickets distributed directly from the fashion houses themselves. While these events are generally closed off to the public, some brands livestream shows and release behind the scenes content on social media.
